Are you looking to expand your ASL skills in a relaxed and welcoming environment? Join us for ASL for Families! Using the American Sign Language at Home: A Family Curriculum as a reference, participants will learn how to incorporate language into their daily routines through the guidance of Deaf/Hard of Hearing Mentors. Sessions in this series will include ASL vocabulary on a variety of topics from daily routines and family time together.

In this program you will have opportunities to:

  • Meet and learn from Educational Support Specialist – Deaf/Hard of Hearing Mentors.
  • Learn amongst peers in a relaxed environment fostering connection and community.
  • Build signing skills relevant to daily routines and language 

Language: ASL with English translation available
Facilitator: Education Support Specialist – Deaf/Hard of Hearing Mentor (ESS-DHH Mentor)
Program Length: 5 weeks

Tuesdays
Lunchtime: 12:00 – 12:45 p.m. (AST) / 12:30 – 1:15 p.m. (NST)
Evening: 7:00 – 7:45 p.m.(AST) / 7:30 – 8:15 p.m. (NST)
