The Canada Revenue Agency’s Benefits Outreach Program will provide you with information on the Disability Tax Credit, how to apply, and how to access the associated benefits and credits for persons with disabilities and their families. Employment and Social Development Canada will share information on the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP), which supports persons with disabilities to save for their future. The Government of Canada helps to increase these savings by contributing up to $90,000 to an individual’s RDSP through the Canada Disability Savings Grant and Bond, depending on family income and contributions.
In this program, participants will the opportunity to:
- Learn more about how to access savings, benefits and credits available through the Canadian federal government for families and persons with disabilities.
- Meet contacts in the federal government who can share information about how to get started accessing savings, benefits and credits to help off-set disability related costs.
