This program is designed to support families of children and youth who are Deaf/hard of hearing through accessible, relevant learning opportunities across the school year.
Connection Corner combines monthly asynchronous resources with optional live (synchronous) conversations led by specialized team members. Each month focuses on a key topic that supports communication, well-being, identity, and independence. The program provides practical strategies, trusted information, and opportunities for reflection, helping families build confidence and strengthen connections at home and in the community.
Instructional approaches include self-paced materials such as short videos, one-page resources, and guided reflection questions, along with facilitated discussions that allow families to explore topics more deeply. Content is designed to be flexible, accessible, and grounded in real-life experiences.
