This session provides an overview of federal disability grants that support students throughout post-secondary education, including the Canada Student Grant for Students with Disabilities (CSG-D) and the Canada Student Grant for Services and Equipment - Students with Disabilities (CSG-DSE). Families will learn what the grants are, who is eligible, and how application processes work across Atlantic Canada. Representatives from all 4 Atlantic provinces will be present to respond to questions to help families understand how to access supports in their local context.
In this program, participants will the opportunity to:
- Learn about federal disability grants available to post-secondary students
- Understand general eligibility requirements and funded supports
- Hear how application processes may differ by province
- Ask questions in a supportive, interactive setting
