The Transition to Post-secondary Education Guide is an asynchronous virtual support for learners who are Deaf/hard of hearing, their families, and/or school teams. Sign up to receive monthly step-by-step content, to help learners feel more confident and prepared for post-secondary education. Each month’s content will highlight key tasks and resources along with optional opportunities to meet virtually for additional support and connection throughout the year!
Through this guide, participants will have opportunities to:
- Explore post-secondary options by comparing schools, programs, and supports.
- Learn about accommodations, assistive technology, and accessibility services.
- Learn about what documentation, applications, and financial aid materials to prepare.
- Reflect on personal strengths, goals, and strategies for a successful transition.
