Join us for SUMMER FUN… in a box!
Hosted by APSEA BVI Mentors, Jen Fancy and Jennie Bovard, this two week program runs one hour per week. The program is designed for learners and their families to engage in fun, learning activities together. Participants will get creative, prepare snacks, and so much more – all in the spirit of Summer!
Delivered through zoom, participants receive Summer in a Box supplies by mail before sessions begin. All supplies and resources needed to participate are included!
Siblings are welcome to participate, too! Please be sure to let us know on the registration form if siblings will be joining. We’ll send enough supplies for the learner served by APSEA and sibling/s, to join in the seasonal fun.
An adult must be present for children or youth requiring assistance to participate.
Learners in this program will have opportunities to:
- Meet other learners
- Engage in fun and creative activities
- Build their concept understanding and skills
Program Details
- Grades/Age Level: Grade 3+
- Day/Time: Tuesdays from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. (AST) / 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. (NT)
- Dates: July 8 and July 15
- Facilitators: Jen Fancy and Jennie Bovard
- Commitment to attend all sessions is preferred. However, you can indicate on the registration form which weeks you are able to attend. This allows us to send you the supplies to participate in the weeks you can attend. If you register for a week, please honor your commitment to the program as supplies will be bought for you to participate.
- Registration for this program can be completed by APSEA Education Support Specialists and/or families on the APSEA website.
- An adult must be present for participants requiring support to participate.
- A Zoom link and detailed schedule will be emailed following registration.
