This session blends a short, student-friendly presentation with time for questions, discussion, and real examples that help classmates understand communication, inclusion, and community. Simply register for a topic and we will work with you to find a time that fits into the classroom schedule.
In this program, learners will have opportunities to:
- Build their understanding of Deaf/Hard of Hearing experiences in a classroom-appropriate way.
- Learn simple strategies that support clear communication, inclusion, and friendship.
- Ask questions in a safe, supportive setting.
- Leave with practical ideas they can use right away to support their classmate.

Language: English with ASL interpretation available, ASL with English translation available

Schedule
Teachers can request a date that works for their class. An APSEA staff member will follow up to confirm a time and finalize details. We will do our best to accommodate preferred schedules while balancing requests across the region.
