Do you support a learner who is reluctant to wear their hearing aids, DM system, or other technology? This program helps students gain strategies and encouragement so they can feel more comfortable and confident using their devices in different settings.
In this program you will have opportunities to:
- Build confidence and ease with using hearing technology in daily life.
- Learn practical strategies to handle challenges at school and with peers.
- Strengthen communication skills that help them explain their needs.
- Connect with peers and mentors who share their experiences.
Audience: Grades 3 – 5; Grades 6 – 8
Language: English with ASL interpretation available, ASL with English translation available
Facilitators: Chrissy MacNeil, Education Support Specialist- Deaf/Hard of Hearing Mentor (ESS-DHH Mentor) and Shelena Marsh, Education Support Teacher-Social Emotional Learning (EST-SEL)

Online learning programs are for students who qualify for APSEA services. Registration must be completed by their APSEA Education Support Teacher (EST).
