Solution Squad is an online, small-group program for students who are blind or have low vision. It offers a supportive space for students to talk openly about real-life challenges related to school, friendships, independence and accessibility. The program aligns closely with Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) areas such as social interaction skills, self-determination, and career education.
Learners in this program will have opportunities to:
- Build confidence in self-advocacy, decision-making, flexible thinking, and social communication through guided discussions, real-world scenarios, and peer learning.
- Reinforce that there is no single “right” path.
- Students learn to discover what works best for them and to trust their own problem-solving skills.
