Story Squad is an online program for students who are blind or have low vision. Through engaging stories, conversation, and movement, students explore important topics like friendship, emotions, confidence, problem-solving, and speaking up for themselves — all in a way that feels fun, safe, and supportive.
Learners in this program will have opportunities to:
- Learner will have the opportunity to build social skills, and learn ways to manage their emotions.
- Students will also strengthen key Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) skills, including social interaction, self-determination, and independent learning.
- Story Squad celebrates differences, encourages connection, and helps students see themselves as capable members of their school and communities.
Audience: Grade 1–5
