Intended Audience: School-age learners who are developing touch typing skills.

Touch typing takes practice, and this virtual session is the perfect way to kick-start that journey! Over three consecutive days, learners will join peers who are learning at the same time, making practice fun and motivating. Each session begins with a quick warm-up and check-in, followed by 15–20 minutes of focused typing practice designed to build speed and accuracy.

Learners in this program will have opportunities to:

  • Practice touch typing for a dedicated amount of time over three consecutive days.
  • Meet other students who are learning how to touch type.
  • Start building a routine for touch typing.

Grades/Age Level: School-age learners who are developing touch typing skills.

Schedule

February 4, 5 & 6

  • Group 1: 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. (AST) / 11:00 – 11:30 a.m. (NST)
  • Group 2: 11:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (AST) / 12:00 – 12:30 p.m. (NST)
  • Group 3: 12:30 – 1:00 p.m. (AST) / 1:00 – 1:30 p.m. (NST)

Online learning programs are for students who qualify for APSEA services. Registration must be completed by their APSEA Education Support Teacher (EST). Contact your APSEA Education Support Specialist to register.
